2,300 exhibitors from 70 countries, 59,000 trade visitors, 2.5% more than in 2025, across an exhibition area of 165,000 square metres.
Theodore and the new headphones
The talking bear to go with the new headphones. Theodore is the bear with the enchanting voice and the Kekz.
A toy for children with no Wi-Fi, no screen and no radiation. Educational, personalised, cuddly,
simply a true companion.
The Wunderkekz can be recorded or played with by the parents themselves, or loaded with
high-quality
stories ready for use and used immediately with childlike ease.
The chip is inserted into the curve on Theodore’s tummy or simply clicked into the earpiece,
and it is ready to use straight away.
With minimal equipment, you can always be sure of having a toy that is child-friendly, fits in any bag and is good for
health as well as development. Suitable from 0 years and TÜV certified.
A band that sings children’s lyrics to global hits, getting young and old alike in a fantastic mood – no one can keep their feet on the ground.
With songs like “Chewing Gum is Awesome”, “Treehouse” or “Ku-Glocke Go”, these professional musicians play until the place is rocking.
It all started in Finland, when a dad wrote a song for his daughter. The music was heavy metal, the lyrics were for children,
about chewing gum, Ku-Glocke Go and a treehouse. Here, there are guitar picks that rock and their costumes are simply adorable.
It makes people laugh, and when the Heavy Dinos rock, there isn’t a dry eye in the house.
Straight to the next galaxy
The first thing that catches the eye in the entrance area of the Nuremberg-Mitte exhibition centre.
LEGO makes it possible. The spaceship was built
from many thousands of LEGO bricks and put on display.
At the Toy Fair, anything is possible, and so several STAR WARS
flagship vessels were recreated and marvelled at by
visitors.
AC/DC aren’t just rocking on stage; Märklin is also presenting “Hells Bells”, AC/DC’s golden cannons,
the golden statue, and the container wagon in a banknote design inspired by the famous 1990 single “Money Talks”
featuring Relax couplings. The four-axle flat wagon of American design
for transporting the iconic ‘Hells Bells’
bell is, of course, also part of the AC/DC Edition.
The locomotive with the red horns and the AC/DC lettering is sensational.
Railways never go out of fashion, and once you’ve fallen in love with them, you usually stick with this hobby for life.
How could a railway fan relax better than with their Märklin railway? But railways are
more than that – they rock, they get the blood pumping just like AC/DC.
Soft toys are huge, so big that one or two visitors could hide behind them.
Toys that children use, such as racing cars, classic cars or bicycles, which are so cool that even as an adult
you’d love to take off on them straight away.
The interactive rucksack: a whole new way to play. The game features various functions such as pirate adventures,
treasure maps, the underwater world, and so on – to name just a few. Various interaction points are
stuck onto the toy, such as the pirate ship, and as soon as the rucksack is held against an interaction point,
the story unfolds and the rucksack remembers things and combines them. This keeps it exciting all the time.
Children create their own stories. The rucksack can be put on any Playmobil figure, and by
sticking on the various interaction points, the whole thing comes to life.

The International Games Inventors Fair
On Friday during the International Toy Fair,
the third edition of the Game Inventors’ Fair took place. Here you can meet 140 participating game designers from 18 countries.
The inventors, whether newcomers or professionals, sit at individual tables and present their newly invented games.
Publishers spend the whole day walking through the rooms, talking to the inventors and having the games
shown to them and explained in detail
Game publishers know that this is where they find the creativity that makes the
difference in the games market.
This is where the foundations for new contracts are laid and the new releases
come onto the market under the publishers’ umbrella.
The publishers’ teams know it’s worth it – Friday at the fair is firmly scheduled by the game publishers for the 140 participating
game designers from 18 countries.
A young woman from California who lives in Poland, a father and son from Israel,
a young man from Hungary
and many other creative people from the EU.
It is definitely a highlight and it is
amazing what is invented and later produced by the publishers
and brought to the high street.
Raimund Kohlberger
A pensioner and game inventor who has travelled all the way from Austria is really making a splash this year.
Who hasn’t got annoyed by dice that have fallen off the table, ended up in the vacuum cleaner, or been chewed up by the dog?
No more of that.
Raimund has found the perfect solution. He has built the ultimate ‘cage’ for them.
With this ‘cage’, the
dice can roll, but they can no longer fall off the gaming table. He’s thought of all sizes, and even the smallest ones
are available as key rings. So the dice are always with you and can roll however they like.
No journey is too far to present great new games and to get in touch with the various publishers.
