The trade fair for organic food attracted over 50,000 trade visitors and more than 3,200 exhibitors from 90 countries
around the world.
Biofach opened its doors from 10 to 13 February 2026 at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg.
Food evokes emotions and expresses not only feelings, but also care for better health through organic food.
The trend is towards ‘colourful’ pure nature with more colour. Colourful presentations and stands that
stood out in terms of colour and decoration whetted the appetite for organic food and encouraged visitors to try it.
A clear trend is emerging in terms of veganism.
Veganism is not for everyone, and people with food intolerances also eat differently. However, thanks to the variety
of products and creativity on offer, there was also plenty for this group with special dietary requirements.
It is an excellent opportunity to enter into cooperation with other nations, to exchange ideas, to launch joint
projects and to promote further development in nutrition and international understanding.
Cooperation is important for all of us and for our entire planet. Nutrition is only one part of the whole issue that
affects us all.
has many beneficial properties: it protects the cardiovascular system, reducing the incidence of disease.
It has a positive effect on blood pressure, anti-inflammatory properties and is antioxidant thanks to polyphenols
and vitamin E. It is considered valuable for the heart, liver and intestines.

Cold-pressed olive oils are particularly healthy. They are a little bitter and pungent in taste, the olives have been
harvested young and are full of power.

A cookie with a difference. A cookie made from coconut, chicory fibre, almond flour, blanched pistachios and matcha powder.
The cookies are available in several different flavours and taste really good.
This is an invention that even people with food intolerances can eat and enjoy.

The cappuccino is now frothed with pea “milk”, creating a pleasant and creamy texture in the mouth.

„Gain with Grain“

Rama invented it, a completely different take on the cashew nut. It is reminiscent of cream cheese and is a matured
product available in various flavours. CasseNoisettes with herbs, with spices, with mould, natural
and many more.
Just like you know it from the cheese selection. As soon as you try it, you can imagine yourself in a convivial gathering with
fresh bread and a glass of delicious white wine to go with it.
‘Coffee for advanced drinkers’
is a hot topic of conversation and is making waves.
It’s actually very simple: there are people who love coffee so much that they know a great deal about it.
Because not all coffee is the same. Variety, roast, growing region, climate, whether it is an oily or rather a dry variety.
These are factors that have a significant influence on the enjoyment of coffee and make not only a subtle but a major
difference. If you look into the production and processing, you will be surprised at
how interesting coffee can be.
Not only did they have one of the best biscuits, but also the tastiest and most varied varieties at the Biofach trade fair.
A new product line that appeals to children and adults alike, is crispy and slightly less sweet.
from Ukraine. Excellent teas such as peppermint, chamomile, pine needles, orange peel, bergamot
and lemon are mild teas, available loose or individually packaged in bags. The teas have a very pleasant taste.
Organic, just as one would imagine, with a great flavour and yet mild.

These baking ingredients are organic, versatile, high-quality and creative. Mr Sonne from the Lecker’s team showed
just how good they can taste.
He baked delicious biscuits for visitors to try.
