It’s back—the Ball of the Union, originally established in 1966.
With ever-growing popularity, the ball is attended by the citizens of Nuremberg and has developed into one
of the most important social events.
After a five-year break, an entertaining program featuring prominent politicians and star guest Nino de Angelo
ensured an evening of excellent entertainment.
The Ball of the Union was held under the patronage of the Bavarian Minister President.
The evening’s host was
well known from the morning show on Hit Radio N1 and Sky Sport News.
welcomed 2,500 citizens of the city, including prominent politicians such as Jens Spahn
(MdB, former Federal Minister of Health) and Joachim Herrmann (MdL, Minister of the Interior for Sport
and Integration).
set the mood for the ball guests for an eventful evening.
Dr. Markus Söder welcomed the guests and, together with his wife, host Michael Frieser, Julia Lehrer,
Marcus König, Sebastian Brehm, and their partners, opened the dance evening with one of the world’s
most famous waltzes. Within moments, the dance floor was filled with smiling faces.
On the stage in the foyer, Dr. Markus Söder took over the introduction and, with great humor, announced
the performance of “Die Drei” singers.
Host Michael Frieser, together with Sebastian Brehm and Marcus König, took to the stage in the foyer and performed
their musical pieces.
Their rendition of
“Dieses ehrenwerte Haus, Aber bitte mit Sahne, and Griechischer Wein was a true highlight. In perfect style, Griechischer Wein”
was sung in white bathrobes—a performance that Udo Jürgens himself would surely have enjoyed.
The bands “Smile,” the “Pino Barone Band,” and star guest Nino de Angelo really got the crowd going.
Nino de Angelo will embark on a major tour again starting in April 2025.
The atmosphere was joyful and exuberant, with plenty of laughter and dancing well into the early morning hours.
The Ball Brothers Roeschke & Roeschke once again hosted an extraordinary and highly exclusive event.
Culinary offerings were diverse and international: tiramisu, Sachertorte, American cheesecake,
freshly baked crêpes, pasta with porcini mushrooms and arugula, Franconian sausages with sauerkraut,
Irish roast beef with potato gratin, colorful bowls with chicken breast strips or white mushrooms.
Midnight snacks included freshly topped ciabatta, sausage salad, and Obatzda, rounding off the selection perfectly.
A highly successful evening filled with humor and top-class entertainment.
