The Wies’n landlords and breweries made their entrance in festively decorated carriages and magnificent
brewery teams, preceding the ceremonial tapping of the keg in the Schottenhamel festival hall.
With the weather as perfect as it could be, thousands of people flocked to the Wies’n.

From 9 a.m. onwards, the first visitors began arriving in droves at the festival grounds. By lunchtime, the crowds were
so large that the festival tents and beer gardens were full and in some cases there were no seats left.
The atmosphere was just as sensational as the wonderful weather. At over 30 degrees Celsius, the well-chilled beer,
brewed especially for the Wies’n, tasted particularly good.
will take place from September 20 to October 5, 2025.
For 16 days, the world’s largest folk festival will offer 40 festival tents, beers from six Munich breweries,
and numerous other Bavarian specialties at the Theresienwiese.
Over 100 rides and stalls provide entertainment, fun, and thrills.
The Oide Wiesn brings back the historic Oktoberfest with traditional tents, rides, and stalls.
There is a special feeling and atmosphere that can be felt there.
The Oktoberfest offers a fixed program of events in addition to the beer tents and rides, which are also part
of the festival every year.
The arrival of the Wies’n landlords and the tapping of the first keg mark the start of the festival, while the traditional
costume and riflemen’s parade bring colorful tradition to the city center. The ecumenical Wiesn church service
is also part of the program, as is the large concert at the Bavaria statue and the fireworks display that marks
the end of the Wies’n celebrations.
Visitors come from all over the world, and no matter what language the Wies’n visitors speak,
here people simply understand each other and celebrate together at the Oktoberfest.
Many bachelor parties were celebrated. England, Belgium, Spain, and Italy had beautiful
T-shirts printed, the outfits were sensational, the mottos original, and the atmosphere exuberant.
Some got lost and had to look for their friends first.
Good vibes throughout the Wies’n, great weather, the smell of popcorn, roasted almonds, shashlik, and many
other delicious things are in the air, and all Wiesn visitors enjoy it to the fullest.
Have fun at the Wiesn!
