Fireworks and salutes under the Bavaria statue to mark the end of Oktoberfest.

As every year, fireworks and salutes will be fired under the Bavaria statue to mark the end of Oktoberfest.

His Royal Highness Franz, Duke of Bavaria

Royal Highness Franz

Joachim Herrmann

and

Hubert Aiwanger

and

Verena Dietl

were also guests at the shooting club tent, where the successful shooters were honored and
impressive
checks and glittering honorary plaques were presented.

Afterwards, Munich Mayor Verena Dietl joined the group for fireworks and a salute
below the Bavaria statue.

With a marching band and a great atmosphere, Joachim Herrmann and Hubert Aiwanger conducted the music,

and despite the cold weather, all the guests felt warm at heart.
After the fireworks and salute, the festivities continue in all the tents. The celebrations continue
and the
guests enjoy their last hours at the Wiesn.

Music, emotions, and sparklers

It was a wonderful last evening in the Schützenzelt. The Reinhold brothers thanked their guests,
staff, and the band, which has been playing in the Schützenzelt for many years and conjures up an
atmosphere
every day and every evening that couldn’t be more wonderful.

Mr. Harald Schwarz

ensures that everything runs smoothly, that the service team thinks of everything,
and that the bar, kitchen,
and bakery have everything they need and are well coordinated.
He has also been working for the Reinbolds
for more than 20 years and is an integral part of the Schützenzelt.

In my interview, he shares a few insider stories and is visibly proud of his great team,
who really always give their
all to ensure that guests have a wonderful time and that everything runs smoothly
and with a lot of heart.

“Never let routine set in.” “Be highly focused, because it doesn’t work for everyone and it doesn’t happen by itself!”

The Schützenzelt is very popular and rocks every night. People queue up to get into the tent.
At 4:30 p.m.,
the tables are reset for the next guests who have made reservations. Champagne coolers,
pretzels, Vesper Bredla,
champagne, and lots of hard-working people make this happen in no time at all.
Approximately 7,500 pretzels are baked
fresh every day in the small baking area and brought to the tables.

Reservations should be made very early, as tables go quickly, simply because it is so nice
in the Schützenzelt.
Managing Director Mr. Harald Schwarz gives me a deeper insight in an interview.
Mr. Schwarz is the managing
director of the Schützenzelt and has been managing all operations for over 20 years.

The waitresses and waiters are very quick at their work, always super friendly and in a good mood.

It’s fun to be in the Schützenzelt. The band has been playing there for many years,
 really getting the guests going,
no one stays seated.

The atmosphere is always very exuberant, people laugh and celebrate, the ladies wear stunning dirndls
and
the gentlemen wear chic tops combined with crisp lederhosen.
The last day is celebrated extensively with prominent guests such as: Mayor Verena Dietl,
 Joachim Herrmann,
Hubert Aiwanger, and His Royal Highness: Franz, Duke of Bavaria, Duke Franz.

With a little luck, you might bump into the Bayern Munich players or handball superstar,
 Germany’s Next
Top Model winner “Jana” and many other stars and personalities in the spotlight,
 who have dressed up
to the nines and just want to party and enjoy a great time at the Wiesn.

Preparations for the 2026 Oktoberfest are already underway, and we are all looking forward to seeing
each other again
and having a wonderful and cozy time together.

Wishing you lots of fun, Susanne Panhans
